David Alleyne-Martin

Director, Digital Marketing Strategy & Innovation

David Alleyne-Martin, Director in Digital Marketing Strategy & Innovation, leads the CX digital strategy team that drives digital thought leadership across the CX Interactive client base. David is a leader and an experienced digital marketer who has a proven track record that includes over 15 years of strategic thinking, account direction, marketing leadership, and customer-centric relationship marketing. What makes David a unique digital strategist is his commitment to not only create great strategy, but to ensure strategies developed are successfully implemented and delivered within the means and tools available to his clients.

Prior to joining CX Interactive, David has worked with many notable brands and media companies that include: MTV, MuchMusic, Kraft Canada, Procter & Gamble, Sympatico, MSN, Coca-Cola, IBM, Warner Music, EMI, SBMG, Universal Music, Virgin Mobile, KIA, Blue Mountain, Rogers, TELUS, Bell Canada, Budweiser, Labatt, Nokia, Motorola, RBC, Apple, STAPLES, LG, Hershey's, CIBC, Bell Sympatico, Intrawest, Nelvana, FedEx, and IMAX.

In addition to David’s wealth of digital experience, David is one of Canada’s most experienced and knowledgeable mobile and social media marketers and is one of the few people in Canada who has over a decade of experience within the mobile channel. While at VeriSign, David successfully led a cross-functional team of 30+ staff where he maximized revenues through the development of mobile storefronts, strategically leveraging the company’s unique capabilities, and exploring synergistic mobile marketing opportunities with carriers, brands, and media companies. From mobile user experience to m-commerce, David has not only seen it all, he has been a key driver within the industry making him an invaluable asset to the CX Interactive client base as the mobile and social channels become more prevalent component of digital strategies.

David holds a Degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of Toronto which has helped him become a great communicator, husband, and father.

David Thorpe

VP of Solution Delivery

As VP of Solution Delivery, David oversees CX Interactive's development teams in the Halifax and Toronto offices.  In addition, he manages strategic partnerships with key vendors and partners to deliver a broader range of services.

David has been a valued member of the Cyberplex team for almost 12 years. He started as a Technical Lead in the Toronto office, progressed to Director of Development in Toronto, then to General Manager of the Halifax Production Centre and finally to his current role.

Prior to his time at Cyberplex, David was a System Engineer at a small consulting firm called Intellitech Innovations in Waterloo which specialized in custom application development mainly for industrial clients.

David is a graduate of the University of Waterloo where he earned his Honours Bachelor of Mathematics - Information Systems Option.  He is passionate about solving interesting business problems with the appropriate application of technology for clients.

When his work at Cyberplex isn't keeping him busy, David enjoys time with his two young daughters; usually at the pool, rink or dance studio.

Rob Henderson

Managing Director

Rob is the Managing Director at CX Interactive leading the sales and client services teams, operations and the development of leading digital strategies for clients.

Prior to joining CX Interactive, Rob led Sales & Marketing for 80/20 Solutions, a leading provider of online marketing automation solutions.  While at 80/20, Rob helped leading brands manage and execute their online marketing campaigns by decreasing cost per customer acquisition while improving sales, retention and loyalty.  Rob was also a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of DECOSTA Marketing, where he built the business from start-up into a multi-million dollar digital marketing agency with offices in Toronto, Calgary, and Los Angeles.  Rob also led the digital strategy for the company’s most prestigious clients including Overbrook Entertainment, Will Smith’s management and production firm.

Rob is a strong leader with a proven track record building teams, businesses and digital strategies. He is an entrepreneur at heart and is passionate about building an entrepreneurial culture in Canada.  He co-founded the National Angel Investor Organization (NAO) with Henry Vehovec in 2002 and also served as the organization’s first General Manager.  While leading the NAO, the member angel investors represented over $200,000,000 in early-stage investment capital that was invested in new Canadian start-up companies.  Rob is also an advisor for Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship (ACE), Canada’s largest youth entrepreneurship program, an organization he also proudly served as its Executive Director in the late nineties.

Rob is a proud member of the community coaching baseball and hockey including two National Champion baseball teams.  In 2007, he was Chairman of “Peter Olyer’s Race Across America” that helped raise over $100,000 for Kids Help Phone.

When not playing the role of a proud father and husband, Rob can be found at a local poker game, ice rink, or golf course.

Chris Neeser

Director - SEO

Christian Neeser is the Director of SEO and Regional Director of the Los Angeles office.

Prior to CX, Christian worked as Director of Client Services at DoneSEO, where he was primarily responsible for supervising the management of all projects and overseeing SEO, SEM and SERM efforts.

Christian studied mechanical engineering in Switzerland and later moved to the US to become a professional musician.  He later got into web development and eventually founded his own web design firm.

As a web designer, Christian enjoyed building sites for clients. However, he did not know how to help clients generate revenue with the sites he developed – which was a problem. Christian understood that his clients could not continue investing money on their web site if the site did not generate revenue. In response to this challenge, he learned how to optimize web sites for search engines. And thus, his career in SEO was born.

Christian is passionate about great campaign results from SEO, SERM or SEM efforts and he believes that happy clients are the best sales team you could ever wish for.

Matthew Ames

Director, Performance Marketing

Matthew Ames is a seasoned digital marketer, business manager and digital strategist with over 10 years of experience in online strategy, marketing and development. At CX Interactive, Matthew envisions, leads, and executes online direct marketing campaigns and delivers lead generation and customer acquisition campaigns that drive the right users, to the right conversion pages, with the right offers, using a blend of advertising media.

Before his position as Director of the Performance Media Group, Matthew was the Director of Web Solutions at Cyberplex where he managed the web development business unit focused on delivering ecommerce and custom application development solutions to small and mid-market clients. Prior to Cyberplex, Matthew was a Senior Associate at First Network Capital where he provided strategic marketing advisory services to clients and portfolio companies under management.  In addition, Matthew has held other marketing and strategy oriented positions.

Matthew’s expertise is in strategic planning, managing and optimizing online branding and direct response campaigns for both customer acquisition and lead generation goals across search, display, mobile, social and affiliate channels. Matthew has additional expertise in search marketing - both organic (SEO & SERM) and sponsored (SEM) with hands-on experience in campaign strategy, development, and optimization.

Matthew is a graduate of Boston University School of Management.

Sherry Pyle

Director, Project Management Office

Sherry Pyle is Director of the CX Interactive Project Management Office where she manages day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple large-scale projects.

Sherry has over 20 years experience in professional service delivery; having spent the better part of 10 years leading programs and projects within IBM’s Global Services division.  More recently, she was a Senior Business Consultant with the Ontario Provincial Services as a Senior Business Consultant where Sherry was responsible for a program that included the updating and development of 22 web sites across the province.

Sherry is passionate about leading a team of professionals with a genuine interest in technology and the common goal of customer support with a focus on the provision of quality and sustainable services. She does this by acquiring a deep understanding of the customer’s needs and translating them into a technology roadmap that fits within the client's short and long-term goals. Keeping the process simple and organizing deliverables into smaller, manageable segments has been a proven key success factor for successful technology related solution deployments.

Sherry attended the University of Guelph where she earned an Honor’s BA in Sociology and Criminology, with a minor in English.  In 2004, Sherry earned her Project Management Professional credential.

Sherry is a cyclist that is passionate about creating awareness and raising funds to fight cancer. She participates in the Ride to Conquer Cancer every year.

Paul Fenton

Senior Consultant, Business & Technology Strategy

As the lead of CX Interactive’s Business & Technology Strategy Consulting group, Paul helps customers to accelerate performance and realize maximum value from business technology solutions. Prior to his position as Senior Consultant, Paul was the lead of the Project Management Office and the Engagement Management practice, where he provided project leadership and was involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle.

Paul is a senior-level IT management professional with over 20 years experience and expertise in enterprise and web technology, strategy and solution consulting, Project Management, client engagement/relationship management, and business technology solution delivery. He is highly effective at developing and maintaining strong C-level client and stakeholder relationships. Paul has a deep understanding of web, intranet, portal, collaboration and social computing technologies and solutions and is an expert in developing business technology strategy, solutions, consulting, and delivery at the Enterprise level.

Paul has held Project Management positions at Non-Linear Creations, Navantis Inc., American Express and Kraft Foods.

Paul earned his degree in Computer Science from University of Toronto.

Scott Rogers

Development Manager

Scott Rogers is the Director, Application Development for CX Interactive, where he manages the technical development department.

Prior to his position as Development Manager, Scott has also been a Software Architect at CX and the Development Manager at a web marketing and development company, Internet Solutions Limited.

Scott spent five years as an Instructor at Dalhousie University, which is also his alma mater.

Scott is able to bridge the gap between technical teams and business users, to come up with designs for solutions that help customers accomplish their goals. He is enthusiastic about new processes to produce better work for clients, such as SharePoint 2010 and mobile development.

Scott is an avid reader.  His favorite thing to read…comic books!
